Skylar One v13: Improved Upgrade, Stronger Security, and a Smarter System Update 

The upcoming Skylar One v13 modernizes the ScienceLogic AI Platform to reduce the risk of reactive end-of-life migrations, strengthen security, and create more performance headroom as telemetry grows. Built on Oracle Linux 9, v13 extends the supported lifecycle, improves performance, and meets federal compliance standards such as FIPS 140-3. This session also covers the updated conversion process and what it means for upgrade planning, platform stability, and day-to-day operations. Attendees will get a first look at the redesigned System Update experience and the reliability work behind it, along with practical guidance for preparing for v13 and reducing disruption during the transition.

From Map to Failing Entity: Geo Maps, WAN Topology, and Faster Resolution 

Knowing what is connected is table stakes. The operational value of topology comes from showing where a problem is occurring, what it affects, and which signals teams can safely deprioritize. In this session, Eric DeRose and Bryan Harding will show how Skylar One is advancing geographic visualization and WAN topology, from higher-fidelity Geo Maps and location-aware service views to MPLS and VRF transport modeling that can support event suppression and correlation. Attendees will see how these capabilities create a more reliable topology foundation for teams managing large, distributed environments and for the autonomous operations capabilities that depend on that context.

OpenTelemetry in Skylar Advisor: From Signal Ingestion to AI-Driven Insight 

OpenTelemetry is becoming a common standard for collecting and moving telemetry across modern IT environments, but ingestion alone does not make those signals useful. In this session, Taylor Johnson will explain how Skylar Advisor is designed to use OpenTelemetry data, walk through practical use cases and ingestion best practices, and preview the roadmap for expanding OTel support. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of where OpenTelemetry fits in Skylar Advisor and how to prepare their own environments to take advantage of it.

From Change Request to Actionable Context: Building Agents in Skylar Automation

Skylar Automation’s new MCP and Agent Authoring capabilities give teams a way to turn existing platform APIs into agent-callable tools and build agents around their own operational workflows. In this live session, Jesse Cooper and Caleb Burch will start with a ServiceNow change request that lacks the context needed for action, expose Skylar One data as tools, build an enrichment agent, and show how it can add affected CIs, utilization trends, recent events, and business-service impact for human review. The session will also explore how this build-first approach can extend toward governed, human-approved agentic workflows.

Skylar Advisor Roadmap Deep Dive: What's Next for AI-Driven IT Operations

Skylar Advisor is part of the ScienceLogic AI Platform, providing AI-driven guidance for IT operations, and its capabilities are expanding across agentic features, broader data ingestion, and governance. In this session, Product and Engineering leaders Pat McClain and Roy Selig share where Skylar Advisor is headed over the next 3, 6, and 12 months, from near-term agentic enhancements across the Control Plane, MCP, Web Search, and Trusted Gateway and broader OpenTelemetry-based data ingestion, to a first look at a version of Skylar Advisor that can work with or without Skylar One, and longer-term advances in anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and governance. Attendees will leave with a clear, practical view of what's shipping soon, what's taking shape next, and how to plan their own operations roadmap around what’s ahead.

From Prompt to PowerPack: Building SL1 PowerPacks with the MCP Server 

The SkylarOne MCP Server gives PowerPack developers a conversational way to drive the PowerPack development workflow, with tools that interact directly with a Skylar One appliance instead of requiring every step in the UI. This session walks through key stages of building a PowerPack, from authentication through Dynamic Apps, and shows what the MCP tools handle at each step. Attendees will see how the server accelerates repetitive development work while keeping engineers responsible for architecture, logic, and design.
